The parish of Prazeres, created in 1962, had its church inaugurated in 1964, adjoining to the Salesian School Oficinas de São José. The main façade has a modern style and a detached tower forms its central body. Inside, the triumphal arch shows mosaic panels; the tubes of the organ simultaneously decorate the fascia wall of the chancel; and lighting comes from the stained glass windows of the large windows.
